C E S A R   B R O D E R M A N N   is originally from Mexico City. He currently works with Loni Landon Dance Project and Danielle Russo Performance Project, as well as having had the pleasure of working for Gallim Dance. Cesar graduated from the Peridance Capezio Center with honors. Most recently, he was invited to join the Batsheva Dance Company.

A N T U A N B Y E R S is a dancer, creative entrepreneur, and arts activist based on Lenapehoking (Manhattan, NY). He is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, and holds a certificate from the Parsons School of Design. Antuan has cultivated artistic partnerships with brands such as Acura, Barney’s NY, Brooklinen, Nike, Jaguar, and Urban Outfitters, and global modeling campaigns including ASICS and Capezio, and is represented by Stetts Modeling Agency NYC. Antuan has performed with the Washington National Opera Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Group, has been a guest artist with KEIGWIN + Company, and performed the solo work “Grey” by Kyle Abraham at New York City Center. After touring internationally with Ailey II, he returned to Lincoln Center to rejoin the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, where he is a frequent performer. Antuan is currently a fellow in The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron of the Arts Creative Arts Residency Program where he is a thought partner to Bebe Miller. He is the proud Founder/CEO of Black Dance Change Makers, a platform designed to unite and uplift Black-identifying dancers, through leadership, education, service, and community building. 

R O Y A   C A R R E R A S F E R E S H T E H N E J A D   works with Danielle Russo Performance Project, as well as having had the pleasure of working for BodyTraffic, Bryan Arias, and Lux Boreal Danze Contemporanea of Mexico. As a choreographer and movement director, she has created for Pussy Riot, Spotify Hispanic Heritage Month featuring Leslie Grace, Italian Vogue, and Thinxs. As an educator, she is faculty at Harlem School of the Arts and Peridance. Roya trained at The Ailey School and holds a BFA in Dance from the University of California at Irvine.

J A S O N   C O L L I N S   currently works with Danielle Russo Performance Project, Dylan Crossman Dans(c), and Pam Tanowitz Dance. Also, he is an artistic associate of Pam Tanowitz Dance, setting and assisting the artistic director with creations for Dance Theater of Harlem, Miami City Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Royal Ballet. Additionally, he has had the pleasure of working with The Bang Group, Wally Cardona & Jennifer Lacey, Ryan McNamara, Christopher Williams, and The Metropolitan Opera. Jason performs regularly with the Merce Cunningham Trust, including reconstructions for Vail Dance Festival and “Night of 100 Solos: A Centennial Event.” He is co-founder of HEWMAN based in New York City. Jason holds a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. 

J O A N N A D E F E L I C E mainly works in the medium of industrial art. She has worked with 13 designs, a studio that produces events for clients such as Honda, Travel and Leisure, and Target, among others. Her Tire Chair has been sold at ABC Carpet and Home and used for multiple press events nationwide. Originally a professional dancer, her career in technical direction embraces live performance. She designs and directs dance, theater, and music events for both independent artists and companies throughout New York City. In 2016, Joanna collaborated with DRPP in its production of Salome, and the anatomy of invisible corners, designing its set involving 10,000 pounds of soil and custom-made shower installations for an abandoned pool.

K A Y L A   F A R R I S H   currently works with Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion, Danielle Russo Performance Project, Punchdrunk's Sleep No More, Helen Simoneau Danse, and Kate Weare Company. She has also had the pleasure of performing in the companies of Aszure Barton & Artists, Gallim Dance, Rashuan Mitchell/Silas Reiner, Madboots Dance, Nicole Von Arx, and Elena Vazintaris. Additionally, she is an active choreographer whose most recent work is commissioned for the Danspace 2019/2020 Season. Kayla holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona. 

C H R I S T I N E F L O R E S works with Danielle Russo Performance Project, as well as Pam Tanowitz Dance, Nicole Von Arx, and Company XIV. Also, she has had the pleasure of performing in the companies of Peter Chu, Chase Brock Experience Caleb Teicher, Dylan Crossman Dans(c)e, Emma Portner, and Isodoc Dance Group. Christine holds a BFA in Dance from the New World School of the Arts.

M O L L Y   G R I F F I N   works with Danielle Russo Performance Project, as well as Liz Gerring Dance Company and Punchdrunk's Sleep No More. She has performed with The Metropolitan Opera, casted in Two Boys choreographed by Hofesh Shechter and Prince Igor choreographed by Itzik Galili. Additionally, she has had the pleasure of performing for Company XIV, Keigwin + Company, and Pussy Riot. Molly holds a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. Currently, she is pursuing her MFA in Dance from the University of Washington.

H E N R Y H O L M E S is a creative technologist who helps to conceive and deliver mobile applications, software products, and immersive digital experiences. Their creative vision and technical versatility enables them to operate effectively in a variety of communities and environments. Their clients have included 92Y Dance Education Laboratory, CardSnacks, GuideOne Mobile, Heidi Latsky, the National Park Service, and SmileBack Labs. Henry holds a BFA in Dance and Computer Science certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I N G R I D   K A P T E Y N   currently works with Brian Brooks Moving Company and Danielle Russo Performance Project, and has additionally worked with Wally Cardona, The Metropolitan Opera, Punchdrunk NYC’s Sleep No More, and MacArthur Fellow Martha Clarke and Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry’s Angel Reapers. Additionally, she is co-founder of HEWMAN based in New York City. Ingrid holds a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School.

J  E N N Y   L A I   creates custom performance wear for musicians and dancers that push the boundaries of interdisciplinary performance. Her work has been seen around the world including her collaboration with South African photographer Chris Saunders that culminated in exhibitions at the Museum of African Design in Johannesburg and Design Indaba in Capetown; violinist Leila Josefowicz for BBC PROMS 50; and Nouveau Classical Project for Lincoln Center Atrium. Recent performance projects include Shen Wei Dance Arts (Brooklyn Academy of Music), DRPP (Governors Island), Madboots Dance (Joyce Theater), and producing a Butoh performance at the concept gallery, The Community in Paris, France. In 2016, Lai co-founded Flying Solo, a designer-collective store in SoHo. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.

L U K E   O H L S O N   is a filmmaker and community organizer working in New York City. He creates narrative, documentary, and experimental films using both film and digital platforms. His collaboration with Danielle Russo in the making of Salome, and the anatomy of invisible corners (2016) was featured in The Creators Project. His services have been commissioned by local venues and organizations such as El Puente, Citi Bike, Families for Safe Streets, Governors Island, Hollaback!, Joe’s Pub, Knockdown Center, National Sawdust, Neighbors Allied for Good Growth, New York Asian Women’s Center, Newtown Creek Alliance, North Brooklyn Neighbors, Riders Alliance, SPRING/BREAK Art Show, Summer Streets NYC, The People’s Supper, Transportation Alternatives, and Woodhaven BRT; and local artists such as Alexandra Albrecht, Craig Martinson, DRPP, Def.GRLS, GP Stripes, Ikechukwu Ufomadu, Neon Caviar, PEP!, Sigrid Lauren/FlucT, Spiegelworld, and The Dance Cartel, to name a few. Luke's background in cinema studies and student activism at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts continues to influence the content, social relevance and cooperative process of his work.

K E V I N J. S H A N N O N is a potter, dancer, and teacher living in Chicago. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts. He received additional training from the School of American Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Paul Taylor, and Springboard Danse Montréal. After receiving his BFA from The Juilliard School, Kevin was invited to join Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. While a company dancer with Hubbard Street from 2007 to 2020, he had the privilege to perform works by Kyle Abraham, Aszure Barton, Alejandro Cerrudo, Peter Chu, Sharon Eyal, William Forsythe, Jirí Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, Twyla Tharp, Robyn Mineko Williams, among many others. As an educator, he has led and programmed the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Summer Intensive and is currently a guest teacher for Hubbard Street’s main company and José Limón Dance Company. He has been a visiting artist for the School of The Art Institute of Chicago and has served as faculty for The Joffrey Ballet School, Gibney Dance NYC, Chicago Movement Collective, Youth American Grand Prix, and Peridance Center. In addition, Kevin is a certified IMAGE TECH for dancers™ teacher. Kevin is currently dancing with Flockworks Dance, Brian Brooks/Moving Company, and Danielle Russo.

J O S H U A   S T A N S B U RY   graduated from the University of Florida with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Applied Physiology and Kinesioloy.  As a freelance artist, he has had the pleasure of performing work by Jonathan Royse Windham, Megan Kendzior, Mark Dendy, Neta Pulvermacher, Maya Orchin, Julia Eichten and Danielle Russo.  He has danced at the Metropolitan Opera and Opera Philadelphia, performing works by Itzik Galili, Hofesh Shechter, and Paul Curran.  Other projects include The Yard’s Bessie Schonberg Choreographic Residency, Fresh Tracks at New York Live Arts, and Springboard Danse Montreal.

V A N E S S A V A R G A S is a Venezuelan dancer, journalist and educator. Her dance research combines theory and practice, examining live arts through cultural studies. As a dance educator and scholar, Vanessa has lectured and facilitated workshops merging theory and practice. Her choreographic work has been presented in New York and internationally, including Venezuela, Argentina, Perú, México, and Spain. She has been performing since 2002 in her hometown Caracas, being part of the permanent cast of Taller de Danza de Caracas, The National Dance Company of Venezuela, collaborating with other choreographers in the meantime. She is based in Brooklyn since 2014, and has continued collaborating with choreographers and performing artists. She has facilitated performances at MoMA since 2014 for exhibitions and artists including: Lygia Clark, James Lee Byars, David Lamelas, Yoko Ono, Simone Forti’s “Dance Constructions” as a part of the exhibition “Judson Dance Theater: The Work Is Never Done” and Haegue Yang “Handles”.

M A R C   W I T M E R   studied fashion and photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where received numerous awards in design. He has since worked for designers Betsey Johnson, Nicole Miller, Calvin Klein, and Carolina Herrera, to name a few. His professional services range to include wardrobe and makeup design for both fashion and performance. Marc is art director for Mari Meade Dance Collective. 

J A R U A M X A V I E R is a professional dancer of Brazilian heritage who has performed for numerous companies and choreographers in Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Uruguay, and the United States. He was a company member of Brazil’s preeminent Balé da Cidade de São Paulo from 2008 to 2018, where he was featured in the works of Mauro Bigonzetti, Alexander Ekman, Andonis Foniadakis, Itzik Galili, Francesca Harper, André Mesquita, Ohad Naharin, and Cayetano Soto. As a choreographer, he delves into the exploration of Anthropophagic Body Formation, a methodology he employs to articulate the assimilation of knowledge through the embodiment of dance and cultural hybridity. His works bear the influence of Candomblé, Capoeira, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, evident in their distinctive traits. He has received prestigious fellowships, scholarships, and grants, enabling him to conduct research on Capoeira and Candomblé, both African-Brazilian diasporic embodied practices. Jaruam has been actively involved as a teaching assistant for the Brazilian Cultural and Carnival, sharing his expertise and passion. In his artistic journey, he has collaborated with renowned programs such as the International Writing Program and the Grant Wood Art Colony at the University of Iowa, where he was also appointed rehearsal director for Flockworks Dance. Most recently, he was invited as an Artist in Residence at Art Omi and is working for Stephanie Miracle, Danielle Russo, and Kieron Dwayne Sargeant. Currently, he is an MFA candidate in Dance with a focus on Choreography at the University of Iowa.
